Dr. Haskins attended Millard High School then the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He obtained his medical degree in 1979 from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, served an internship at the university’s Department of Internal Medicine and residency in the Department of Ophthalmology. In 1984 he moved to Fremont and founded the Fremont Eye Associates.
Dr. Haskins is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist with interests in cataract surgery and glaucoma. He has outreach clinics in Blair, West Point, Pender and Wayne where he also performs cataract surgery.
Dr Haskins and his wife Mary enjoy living in Fremont where they raised their 3 children; Andy, Dana and Katie and they are the proud grandparents of 3. Both Dr. Haskins and Mary are active in many organizations in Fremont and love supporting this great community.
In his spare time, Dr. Haskins enjoys hunting, golfing and spoiling the grandkids.
Dr. Steve Samuelson is originally from Kearney, Nebraska. He graduated from Kearney State College and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed a one year internship in internal medicine at Creighton University followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska. He completed a fellowship in anterior segment surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and then was fortunate to join Dr. Greg Haskins to form the Fremont Eye Associates in 1990.
Dr. Samuelson is a comprehensive board certified ophthalmologist, performing eye exams, prescribing glasses and contact lenses and treating eye diseases including glaucoma, corneal and diabetic eye disease.
Dr. Samuelson is happily married to Celeste. They enjoy spending time with their children; Nate, Luke and Rachel. Dr. Samuelson also has been known to chase a little white ball around a golf course.
After 25 years together, both he and Dr. Haskins are excited to welcome Dr. Terp to the practice, helping to continue to provide quality eye care to the Fremont area.
Dr. Patty Terp grew up in Northern Arkansas before moving to Omaha to attend Creighton University for her undergraduate studies. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude and then continued on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine from Creighton University in 2011. Dr. Terp completed her residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Truhlsen Eye Institute in Omaha before joining the Fremont Eye Associates as a comprehensive board certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Terp also currently serves on the executive committee for the Nebraska Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Terp and her husband Robert are happy parents to their son Braeden and daughter Camille, and their two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, baking and cake decorating, and playing soccer.
